WeID Photo Badge Pickup
UCSF's response to the COVID-19 pandemic has required adjustments to the process for new students to pick up their photo ID badge. As we welcome you to UCSF, please review the special procedures that will apply for new students in summer and fall 2020 to promote the health and safety of the UCSF community.
As your program likely has already communicated to you, UCSF requires COVID-19 testing for new students. Please do not visit the campus until you have received a negative test result. Once you have received a negative test result, on each day on which you plan to visit the campus, you will need to complete an online health survey before entering the campus. Also, face masks are required on campus. Please meet these requirements before visiting the WeID Office.
The following programs have made special arrangements for ID badge pickup. Please click the program name to view those instructions. If your program is not listed, please review the general guidelines that follow.
General Guidelines
If you uploaded your photo in the student portal and the student portal indicated that your badge was ready for pickup, you can visit the WeID Office in Millberry Union, 500 Parnassus Ave, Level P-7, Room MU18, from 7:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You do not need an appointment. We encourage students to upload their photo in the student portal as long as they can pick up their badge in the Parnassus location.
Students also can sit for a photo at WeID's Parnassus location or in the Mission Bay location (Genentech Hall, 600 16th Street, Room 124). The hours at Mission Bay are Mondays from 10:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We encourage appointments, especially at Mission Bay, where the office can accommodate only one student at a time.
