Student Portal Access for Alumni & Former Students
Alumni whose UCSF student record includes their Gmail account can use their Google credentials to log in to the student portal. If you do not have a Gmail account in your student record, or if you need to update the telephone number that you encounter during the login process, please contact the Office of the Registrar.
Login Instructions
Navigate to the student portal login page.
Click “Log in with Google ID”, which will take you to the “Sign in with Google” page. This Google page will ask you to enter the e-mail address or phone number associated with your Google account.
After you enter your e-mail address or phone number on this Google sign-in page, you will be asked to enter the Google password associated with that e-mail address or phone number.
The sign-in page will direct you to UCSF’s two-factor authentication system, OKTA. Select the form of verification that you wish OKTA to use. You can choose to receive a verification code by text or a telephone call; in each case, OKTA will use the telephone number in your UCSF student records. (Note: This telephone number may or may not be the telephone number that is associated with your Google account.)
After selecting your authentication method, enter the code in OKTA that you receive by text message or telephone call.
Alumni who do not have a Gmail account in their student record or who do not have access to the telephone number in their student record may contact the Office of the Registrar for assistance at [email protected] or 415-476-8280.
Current students should use MyAccess to access the student portal, not their Google credentials.
