Accessing Your Form 1098-T
Please review these options for accessing your IRS Form 1098-T.
If you did not elect to receive your Form 1098-T electronically, your form will be mailed to your local (mailing) address by January 31. To go green and receive your Form 1098-T in electronic format only in future years, please update your delivery preference in the student portal.
Student Portal
You can view and print your Form 1098-T in the student portal under the “Finances” tab. The form will be available in the student portal regardless of whether you opted for mail or electronic delivery.
If you graduated and do not have MyAccess any longer, you have two options described below.
Former Students Option 1: Gmail Login
If we have your Gmail address in your student record, you can use your Gmail login credentials to log in to the student portal. Additional information is available about the Google login process.
If we do not have your Gmail address in your student record but you would like to add your Gmail address to your student record, please e-mail [email protected] from the e-mail account that we have in your student record and provide your Gmail address.
Former Students Option 2: External Web Site Access
If you do not have a Gmail account or otherwise cannot access your Form 1098-T in the student portal, please visit www.tsc1098t.com and enter the following information to log in:
Site ID: 11564
User Name: Your UCID (9-digit number starting with 02)
Password: Last 4 digits of your SSN (first-time users only)
If you do not know your UCID (the 9-digit number starting with 02), please e-mail [email protected].
If you are an international student without an SSN or have otherwise not provided your SSN to UCSF, the temporary password will be 0000. Submitting this temporary password at the login screen will initiate a password reset process using your e-mail address (check both your UCSF e-mail account and the personal account that you provided to UCSF, as the message may be sent to either account).
After login, first-time users will be prompted to change their password. If prompted for your old password, enter the last four digits of your SSN. Choose a new password that is at least eight characters long and contains at least one numeric character, one upper-case letter, one lower-case letter, and one special character. Please make a note of this password.
Once you log in to the Web site, select “View/Print My 1098-T” from the menu on the left side of the screen.
If you previously logged in to www.tsc1098t.com: Your password is the one that you set at the site previously, not the last four digits of your SSN. If necessary, use the "Forgot Password" link.
